Hassan Afrookteh received a Bachelor of Arts in
Architecture from UC Berkeley in 1982. He worked as a Project Architect for the
award-wining firm of Batey and Mack for two years and for Mark Mack Architects
for a year. In this period he furthered his studies at U.C. Berkeley's Master
of Architecture program. In 1985, he started RAD Associates where he engaged in
the design and construction of residential and commercial projects in the Bay
Area. In 1990, he founded Domus Builders where he has led the design,
construction and construction management success of the firm. He is an Adjunct
Professor at the California College of the Arts (CCA) where he has taught since
1987. Hassan lives with his wife Brooke and his sons Kian and Cameron in Marin
County, where he enjoys mountain biking on Mt. Tamalpais. |
